Abstract
In this reflection paper, I give an overview of my summer experience as a perioperative support services technician in the day surgery unit at Monadnock Community Hospital. I discuss how I came across this opportunity, and how I learned the job and what it entails. I also talk about how this experience contributed to my educational and career pursuits, and how well it sets me up for similar opportunities in the future.
