Abstract
A reflection of my work with the Institute for Field Research on the island of Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia. The program is offered as an eight credit course through Connecticut College and focused on the ecological aspects of archaeology. I conducted excavations, shovel test pits, and lab work while also studying LiDAR surveys and participating in ground truthing.
