Abstract

This reflection covers a self-initiated remote internship with On The Water magazine, focusing on analyzing the economic and sustainability impacts of striped bass regulations. Skills from Environmental Studies and Quantitative Economics majors were utilized to research and write on. While the project validated my interest in environmental policy and resource management, the experience underscored a strong personal preference for structured, collaborative environments over highly independent remote work.
