Abstract
By participating in a field school, I was able to relate my academic concentration to real-world experiences. The Cajamarca Ethnoarchaeology project, supported by the Institute for Field Research, explores textile tradition, material culture, and social problems in Peru. This paper outlines my experience preparing for, participating in, and reflecting on the summer 2026 field school.
