Abstract
This paper gives an overview of work done at Connecticut College as part of its Summer Science Research Program. Students studied various voting algorithms applicable to ranked-choice ballots. Many of these algorithms assume voters have completed their full ballot, but in reality many voters complete only a couple of choices. This makes the voting algorithms impractical. We sought to rectify this by altering the voting rules to run on "incomplete" ballots. We tested the altered ballots' accuracy against ballots with access to full information in a theoretical space.
