Abstract

Over the course of this summer, I had the opportunity to work at Beebe Hospital. Thankfully to both Michael Daproano and Donna Williamson, I was granted the amazing opportunity to work alongside the most intelligent and professional pharmacist in Delaware across three different hospitals in Delaware. My official role was a pharmacy technician, and in that role, I was tasked to  work in all activities associated with compounding hazardous medications, and additional responsibilities of replenishing Emergency Department stock through utilization of Automated Dispensing Cabinets. Ultimately, I worked directly in a cancer infusion center and was ultimately responsible for all oncology medications, and  assisting the lead pharmacist in charge of ensuring that all day to day action goes smoothly in the pharmacy.
