Abstract

This summer, I worked in the lab of Dr. Dumas in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Vermont. I conducted the analysis for Dr. Dumas' study examining how cholinergic changes influence Alzheimer’s disease risk in post-menopausal women, and developed a predictive model of cholinergic integrity that included cognitive, neural, and phenotypic variables. Faced with significant data constraints, I tailored machine learning techniques to extract meaningful insights.
