Abstract
Interning at UMass Chan Medical School taught me that research was so more than just the pipetting skills and experiments I had originally believed it to be. My knowledge of the extent of scientific possibility was broadened exponentially, and I enjoyed how passionate the scientific community was to share their knowledge to better the world. I left the summer with both more experience in and excitement about pursuing research post-grad.
