Abstract
This is a reflection on my positive experience as a research trainee at the Resnek Family Center for Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis Research at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Under the direction of the PI and in collaboration with team members, I contributed to significant translational medical research while gaining hands-on lab experience and an understanding of healthcare and preclinical drug development. My training focused on sample management, processing, and preservation, alongside running experimental procedures like ELISA and colorimetric assays. Additionally, I became proficient in data management and standard operating procedures in the specific lab environment. My experience was impactful, educational, and collaborative.
