Abstract

In March 2026, I attended the 2026 USITT Conference and Stage Expo. Through this experience, I connected with regional theatre companies, touring companies, and graduate programs, as well as viewed work by fellow college students and early career professionals. Additionally, I attended several panels on working in the theatre industry, as well as specialized workshops on inclusion and equity in performance spaces. I had the opportunity to speak directly with the company where I would end up working this summer (Maine State Music Theatre).
