Abstract

During my internship at Omaha Value, I gained experience in hedge fund investing, equity research, and company valuation. I analyzed publicly traded companies using financial statements, discounted cash flow models, and comparable company analysis to identify investment opportunities. I also researched the portfolios of over 20 value-investing funds, supported due diligence for a real estate investment opportunity in Peru, and helped prepare investor reports on fund performance. This experience strengthened my financial analysis skills and gave me a better understanding of value investing and investment management.
