Abstract
This reflection describes my hybrid internship as a Software Development Intern at Safi Group of Companies, a fertilizer and pesticide manufacturer in Multan, Pakistan. I spent six weeks working remotely while finishing classes in Connecticut and four weeks on-site at the company’s headquarters. I built an operations and sales records system in React, SQL, and Python that is now used by sales staff, production units, and engineers across the company. The paper covers how I found the opportunity, a difficult debugging experience with my team, what I learned about my strengths and weaknesses, workplace ethics, and how the internship prepared me for my next internship at Cisco.
