Abstract

This summer, extending through the Fall of 2020, I have been interning for award winning animator, director, and artist Maya Erdelyi. Maya Erdelyi is an independent animator based in Boston, MA. Currently, Erdelyi is working on her experimental animated documentary, “Anyuka.” “Anyuka” follows the story of Erdelyi’s grandmother, Veronika Foldes Frame. Veronika fled Hungary amidst the Holocaust and eventually immigrated to the United States with her five year old son, Maya’s father. I am the Assistant Film Editor, where I have been assembling and editing footage. I have been editing "Anyuka" under Maya Erdelyi's direction.
