Abstract

I began my SIP independent study with the Education Department at Connecticut College, advised by Professor Sheth. For my research, I gathered a variety of texts surrounding the history, cultural context, and policy timeline for bilingual education in the U.S. At the end of the summer, I created a dialogue guide and a pamphlet providing information and resources surrounding implementation of bilingual education.
