Abstract
This summer, I worked with the program team at Connecticut Alliance to End Sexual Violence, assisting with resource development and program management tasks, participating in prevention and community education efforts, and building other relevant advocacy skills. I also conducted research on alternative forms of justice, including restorative and transformative justice practices for sexual violence cases. In addition, I completed 100 hours of volunteer work for the Sexual Assault Crisis Center of Eastern CT (SACCEC) crisis hotline. Working with these two organizations allowed me to understand sexual violence on a macro and micro level.
