Abstract

This summer, I worked at the Killingworth Library: a private, non-profit organization providing library services to the town of Killingworth and beyond. Alongside another library assistant, I was responsible for running the library’s ‘Tails and Tales’ summer programs for the town’s youth - I hosted storytimes, created crafts for children to make, assisted with larger guest events, and directed and performed a puppet show, among other things. In addition, I was available to assist patrons at the circulation desk and perform other library tasks whenever help was needed.
