Abstract

The refugee crisis in Greece is a humanitarian crisis with growing attention and tension. This summer I conducted research to uncover the root causes and contemporary actions and decisions that are perpetuating this human rights issue in Greece. My research examined everything from the explosion in migration in 20th century Europe, the embedded biases in international organizations, and the geographically-associated ideals and hatreds.
