Abstract

During my time, I was able to actively research HIV/AIDS rates in the South, with a particular focus on the Houston area. In order to fulfill the mission statement of this non-profit, I also compiled a small data-base of non-profit and low-cost clinics that provide HIV/AIDS-related services in Houston and outside of the city. These resources were ultimately compiled in a pamphlet (draft) to be distributed among students of the University of Houston but another person looking for these services. Moreover, since much of the work was hybrid I also assisted in monitoring the Zoom meetings including looking over the chat, managing raised hands, directing questions to coordinators and sharing and redirecting additional information.
