Abstract
Behavioral Health Network (BHN) is a large mental health corporation that provides various types of therapeutic services to all age groups. These programs include residential, inpatient, and day programs for different psychological disorders, including anxiety, depression, substance use disorder, etc.
As an addiction recovery specialist intern, I worked closely with the counselors to help design therapeutic groups to support our clients. I also aided my supervisor in various tasks such as the organization of both meeting notes and group materials. At the end of my internship, I also led a few therapeutic groups for clients including one on reframing negative addictive thoughts.
