Abstract
My internship occurred at the Wistariahurst Museum, which was formerly the house of the silk manufacturing Skinner family. It is a cultural and educational center owned and operated by the City of Holyoke. My responsibilities included the processing and cataloging of 100-plus year old documents from various collections in the archive that had yet to be added to the cataloging system. After processing, I performed the necessary documentation so that any researcher may find what they need in the collection. I was given reasonable times to complete my given objectives and was able to complete an extra objective as well which further helped the preservation of Holyoke’s history and the development of my skills in museum work.
