Abstract
In Congressman McGovern’s Office, I, along with the other interns, were expected to answer constituent concerns and issues. This included mail, phone calls, and other messages from constituents. Outside of constituent services, the work in the internship focused on assisting the legislative staff with different projects. Working collaboratively with the other interns, I assisted with a variety of legislative projects, including drafting political strategy documents, writing concise memos for staffers on committee hearings, and researching/analyzing high-profile Supreme Court decisions.
