Abstract
The NYU Grossman School of Medicine Pathology Department is a prominent academic department within the NYU Langone Health system. It is dedicated to advancing the understanding of diseases through research, education, and clinical services. The department comprises a diverse and multidisciplinary group of pathologists, scientists, and healthcare professionals who collaborate to investigate the mechanisms of diseases, provide diagnostic services, and educate the next generation of medical professionals. I was responsible for curating a research project with my mentor as well as keeping up with laboratory needs, helping other scientists in the lab with their projects, but overall, learning scientific technique and how a lab is run.
