Abstract
This summer I participated in the 2024 NYU Vilcek Institute for Graduate Biomedical Sciences Summer Undergraduate Research Program (SURP). I worked in the lab of Dr. Adam Mar at NYU Langone Medical Center, within the rodent behavior core. Through the SURP program I had opportunities to explore graduate school programs and participate in career development series. In the lab, I worked with mice to run motor and cognitive tests. Over the summer I had the chance to put together a project that I presented at the Leadership Alliance National Symposium in Hartford, CT.
