Abstract

This reflection exists to document my experience of being a camp tutor at the English Camp Company. During this five week program I was abroad in Italy working at two different camps. At these camps I was in charge of teaching English to a group of 12 children most of whom spoke solely Italian. This program enhanced my Italian language, lesson planning, and classroom management skills. I would recommend this program to anyone who is interested in teaching children in a fast, fun-filled environment that is is chock full of culture!
