Abstract
This reflection explores my experience as a PICA intern at Lawrence and Memorial Hospital in New London, CT, where I served as both a volunteer in the emergency department and a student intern shadowing healthcare professionals. The hospital's focus on equitable care, particularly for predominantly POC communities, was evident through their multilingual resources and mental health support systems.
