Abstract
My web development internship with SciQuel, a startup based in Boston, was incredibly fulfilling and educational. I learned a lot about the software development process, how collaboration looks in a computer science focused job (using GitHub), and what it is like to work in a remote position. I worked with fellow interns to develop front-end features for the SciQuel website as they prepare to launch it. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, during which I learned a lot and met many great people. It helped solidify my future career goals.
