Abstract

This paper is a reflection of my time spent interning at the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group in New York City during the Summer of 2024. My internship was with the Sponsor Finance and Direct Lending team, where loans were underwritten to Private Equity Clients. During my time at MUFG, I learned valuable technical skills and was able to utilize the soft skills I've been taught at Conn. My experience was very valuable and I'm grateful to have had the opportunity to learn with such a great team!
