Abstract
This summer, I volunteered as a physical therapy aide at CORE Physical Therapy and Sports Performance. I assisted patients with different exercises, applied ice/hot packs to areas of injury on the body, and set up stimulation pads for upcoming appointments. This experience gave me a greater understanding of anatomy and its links to not only targetted exercises but therapy treatments like Piezo Wave Therapy, RedCord, Graston, and much more. Working at a small, family-owned private practice gave me more insight into different scenes to work in as a physical therapist.
