Abstract

From May to July 2025 I had the experience of working as a farming intern at Grow Food Northampton. I was on the farm twice a week and every day brought a new experience. Some days I gained experience with agroforestry while others I assisted with field trips for kids and helped with food access to the local area of Northampton. Grow Food gave me the opportunity to work with organic farmers and meet many other people passionate about sustainable agriculture. I gained a lot of knowledge about native and invasive plants as well as sustainable crop alternatives because of the hands-on experiences the farm gave me.
