Abstract
Last summer, I had the opportunity to attend to the ACM Conference on Computing and Sustainable Societies (COMPASS) 2025, which was in Toronto, OT, Canada from July 21st 2025 to July 26th 2025. I attended the conference to present my paper, A framework for river connectivity classification using temporal image processing and attention based neural networks, which I co-authored with Prof. Timothy Becker and was published in the conference proceedings. On top of being a presenter in the conference, I was also a part of the student volunteer team, helping the registration, event setup, and general guidance. This reflection includes my general experience in this conference as a presenter and student volunteer.
