Abstract

My summer internship at Salem Peabody Oral Surgery gave me hands-on experience assisting in procedures such as wisdom teeth removals, implants, and jaw wiring. I developed skills in precision, teamwork, and staying calm under pressure while taking on responsibilities like passing instruments, monitoring patients, and suctioning during surgeries. The experience was both rewarding and educational, allowing me to learn a great deal and gain confidence in a professional medical setting.
