Abstract

During the summer of 2025, I completed an internship with Amentum, focusing on the implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to support organizational efficiency and innovation. My role involved contributing to projects that explored the integration of AI-driven solutions for data analysis, process automation, and decision support across defense and engineering applications. I gained hands-on experience with AI tools, workflows, and implementation strategies while collaborating with cross-functional teams to address real-world challenges. This internship not only strengthened my technical understanding of AI systems but also enhanced my ability to evaluate the ethical, operational, and strategic considerations of applying AI in a large-scale enterprise environment. The experience provided me with practical insight into the transformative potential of AI in both government and industry contexts and prepared me to further pursue a career at the intersection of technology and applied innovation.
