Abstract
What it means to work as a research assistant at Brigham and Women's Hospital through the Calum MacRae Lab. Worked on different projects that tied technology and physiology together trying to create new standards for biomarkers. The project I worked on most closely was a partnership with a women's health start up trying to improve EKG data and user interface efficiency. Also includes information about the NYU HCOP program and the role of an intern working on the Family Care Unit at NYU Langone. This internship experience focuses on women's health and clinical care.
