Abstract
In this paper, I reflect upon my ongoing engagement with the Covenant Shelter of New London, an emergency shelter for unhoused families and individuals. I describe the role of the Career Action Program in allowing me to sustain and deepen my engagement with the shelter through a summer internship, detail the skills that I have gained from this experience, and express gratitude for the people who have supported me along the way.
