Abstract
This paper provides a reflective overview of my first internship experience at Arista Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the supervision of Dr. Judith H. Gurfein, Ph.D., ABPP, APRN-BC. It highlights the professional and personal growth I achieved through exposure to a clinical mental health setting, where I developed skills such as completing intake forms, verifying insurance, and communicating with patients. This paper highlights how my internship experience has reinforced my career goals as a future therapist.
