Abstract

I worked at SMBC as an intern on the North American Project Finance team during the summer of 2025. Coming from a non-finance educational background, I spent the summer building my technical skills while relying on my firmly established soft skills. I built these skills by working on 6 deals over the course of the summer and completing a group case study presentation, an individual research presentation, and a graded course on modeling.
