Abstract

During my six-week internship at Trillium Trading, I gained hands-on experience in equity trading within a fast-paced, high-intensity environment. I was paired with a mentor, Simon Redfern, and had the opportunity to learn proprietary trading strategies, use advanced trading software, and analyze real-time market news. The internship provided exposure to diverse trading styles, reinforced critical professional skills such as time management, organization, and decision-making under pressure, and allowed me to observe the characteristics of successful traders. Additionally, company-wide events facilitated networking and insight into workplace culture. Overall, the internship exceeded my expectations and culminated in a return offer for a full-time position, solidifying my interest and career goals in equity trading.
