Abstract
This reflection provides an overview of my eight week computer science research internship at Connecticut College's Summer Science Research Institute (SSRI). With stream connectivity being an essential aspect of a healthy ecosystem, I worked on automated stream connectivity monitoring through the use of machine learning on trail camera images, a cost-effective and efficient method. The research internship provided me with a fulfilling experience and a strong skillset to bring to future roles.
