Abstract

Working for a small financial planning firm as an intern in the summer of 2025 greatly aided my professional development. It helped me to better understand my career goals, improve my soft skills, and gave more direction in my academics. Those interested in finance, economics, and even related fields such as statistics or mathematics should consider applying for internships in this sector, as the varied work allows for great self-exploration.
