Abstract

This internship took place at Homeworthy, Midcoast Maine's comprehensive homeless services organization. It consisted of direct client work under the supervision of Homeworthy's case managers, and urgent needs assistance (such as supplies drop-off and shelter waitlist management) under the urgent needs coordinator. Daily activities included organization of and collection of supplies for drop-offs, sitting in on coordinated entries into Maine's Homeless Management Information System, and observing management of the transitional shelter.
