Abstract
Through the United Nation Foundation Internship program I delved into the humanities side of public health. I learned a lot about epidemiology through the lens of health policy and government. My role consisted of taking notes at CDC hearings, creating summaries on emerging infectious diseases, and assisting in on going UN projects.
