Abstract

In summer 2025, I interned at Cradles to Crayons, a Boston-based nonprofit that supports children experiencing clothing insecurity. As an English major seeking corporate and community engagement experience, I contributed to outreach efforts, compiled over 300 potential partner contacts, and gained skills in tools like Excel and Salesforce. The supportive and fast-paced environment pushed me out of my comfort zone, helping me grow in confidence, communication, and professionalism. This experience was deeply meaningful and strengthened my commitment to purpose-driven work.
