Abstract

Courage Quest was a therapeutic summer day camp at the University of Rhode Island for children with anxiety. I interned from June 1st to August 1st and received specialized training from Dr. Ellen Flannery-Schroeder on cognitive behavioral therapy and exposure therapy. Then I assisted in the preparation of camp by incorporating therapeutic principles into daily activities and making them fun and immersive for the campers. During camp, I directly supported the campers with therapeutic skills and conducted camp activities.
