Abstract

Over eight weeks, I participated in two research projects along with fellow students. We studied what factors influence countries around the world to make environmental pledges to reach Net Zero. To do so, we cleaned up an existing dataset, researched potential variables, performed complex models, and analyzed the results. In addition, we tested a new computer program that sequences DNA strands to find out how accurate the program is. We created synthetic data, performed multiple runs, collected the data, and analyzed the results.
