Abstract

I spent the summer of 2026 as a marketing and communications intern for Russell Sage College in Albany and Troy, New York. While this wasn't my first choice for a summer internship experience, I gained invaluable experience in professional communications and branding through exposure to new tasks, such as conducting interviews and observing brand strategy focus groups. Keeping an open mind was crucial for my success in this role.
