Abstract
This reflection evaluates my experience as a senior Biological Sciences major and pre-nursing student completing an intensive summer online course in Nutritional Science. Originally taken to fulfill a mandatory nursing prerequisite, the course transformed my understanding of human physiology, public health, and preventative care. Studying macro and micronutrients, vitamins and minerals, biochemical and metabolic processes, and clinical case studies enhanced my critical thinking, time management, and resilience in a fast-paced online environment. Ultimately, this experience validated my career path and demonstrated that nutrition is a vital, integrative tool for holistic healthcare.
