Abstract

During the summer of 2026, I completed a Legal Affairs Internship at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare in Memphis, TN. I had the opportunity to contribute to projects involving legal research, contract review, regulatory compliance, and healthcare policy. I also completed an independent research project where I analyzed reproductive healthcare access using R and public health datasets before presenting my findings to the Legal Department. My experience strengthened my ability to research complex legal and policy issues, analyze quantitative and qualitative information, and clearly communicate findings. Overall, my internship solidified my interest in pursuing a career in law.
