Abstract

During the Summer of 2026, I had the amazing opportunity to work with Kelsey Lengyel-Jacovich, an adjunct professor at Connecticut College. I worked with Kelsey on the start-up of her own private business, The Goat and The Stone, as well as observed her summer class of sports psychology, and had the opportunity to create a leadership program for athetes and captains at Post University. I learned many things through this internship, including marketing strategies for new business owners, content creation on social media, sports psychology theory and practice, and how to create tangible resources for college athletes and students in general.
