Abstract

This past summer I participated in Lehigh Valley Health Network, part of Jefferson Health’s summer research scholar program. This program lasted for 8 weeks, in which the research scholars were assigned to a health professional to act as their mentor, and carried out a research project that culminated with a professional presentation. Throughout these 8 weeks, we attended a weekly professional development session in which professionals presented on different topics that would be useful as we conducted our own research and moved through the professional world.
