Abstract

This summer, I participated in Vanderbilt University’s three-week Accelerator Summer Business Immersion Program, an intensive experience that combined approximately 72 hours of coursework in finance, accounting, Excel, and artificial intelligence with real-world consulting projects. Working in a team of six, I developed and presented solutions to business challenges posed by Tractor Supply Company, Red Bull, and Vanderbilt Athletics. The program strengthened my teamwork, public speaking, problem-solving, and ability to respond constructively to critical feedback under tight deadlines. Although the program was not specifically focused on commercial real estate, it gave me greater confidence in networking and provided skills that will support my future career in the industry.
